Sid brings over 40 years of experience across Australia’s leading firms, with a distinguished career in funds management, construction and development, as well as bridging and construction finance. His deep industry knowledge and strategic insight are invaluable assets in his role as CEO.

Sid has a proven track record of working closely with major banks to structure wholesale lines of credit, assess complex loan applications, and evaluate mortgage-backed securities. His robust financial acumen, underpinned by expertise in accounting, compliance, and auditing, positions him as a highly trusted and respected voice within the industry.

Driving the vision of Sky Peak Capital, Sid plays a critical role in shaping internal policies, managing risk, and driving sound, long-term investment decisions.

Jean began his career in commercial property funds management, gaining exposure across both retail and wholesale markets before joining Sky Peak Capital at its inception in 2022. He played a pivotal role in bringing the company to market and continues to help drive its growth and strategic direction.

Jean oversees internal property valuations, collaborates with brokers, structures tailored finance solutions for borrowers, and manages investor relations.

Beyond his professional career, Jean is a distinguished athlete, having competed in two Olympic Games. He secured a gold medal in sprint kayaking at the Tokyo Olympics and a bronze at the Paris Olympics, setting two Olympic records. In recognition of his sporting achievements, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2021.

Nicola brings extensive experience across both the banking sector and private credit markets. With a strong background in risk assessment and loan management, she provides a depth of expertise that ensures every scenario is approached with diligence and careful judgement.

As Head of Credit, Nicola plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding our credit framework, upholding the highest standards in decision-making. Her ability to identify and mitigate risk while recognising opportunities delivers significant value to both our team and investors. Beyond her technical capability, Nicola is highly regarded for her leadership, sound judgement, and collaborative approach, making her a valued member of the team.

Linda is a skilled and detail-oriented accountant with a deep understanding of financial management and reporting. With over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, Linda specialises in maintaining accurate financial records, budgeting, and tax compliance.

Her strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex financial data ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day financial processes. Linda’s proactive approach and dedication to excellence makes her a valuable member of the team.

Adam Sharplin is an independent external consultant appointed as a responsible manager on Sky Peak Capital’s Australian financial services (AFS) licence. Adam brings over a decade of experience in direct investment, compliance and funds management operations roles within the private markets sector.

Adam’s roles have included co-portfolio management of a $250m listed investment company, founding a boutique private equity fund manager and operating a successful private corporate finance consulting practice which has included various executive and non-executive roles. Adam’s experience in both institutional-grade and start-up funds managements businesses adds valuable insight and knowledge of compliance practices to the Sky Peak team.
